Who We Are
Hood & Dagger Productions Inc. is Winnipeg’s newest registered not-for-profit community theatre company. We produce live community theatre, specializing in thrillers, mysteries, and tales of adventure.
We work together to create a respectful and positive environment, and cast, crew, Board, and committee members are volunteers. We seek to provide opportunities to get involved, whatever your experience level.
Our vision is to Build Community through Community theatre. We aspire to create more than community theatre, but a community event, supporting local business, promoting community musicians, and also donating to a charity after each show.

Why Now?
Humans are social creatures, and now – more than ever – it’s important to get out there and be a part of something. Break out of the house and engage with the community in ways you never have before. Theatre combines so many aspects of the arts: writing, art, design, fashion, music, movement, lighting, and sound. In 2022, a survey by Nanos Research found that 72% of Canadians said participating in art and culture activities improved their mental health. It’s true: no matter how you’re involved, the benefits are countless. Get involved today!
