In a small Nova Scotian town celebrating their recent hockey championship win, a skeleton is discovered in the wall of the United Baptist Church. Sister Vivian Salter is called in to unravel the mystery, and by doing so butts heads with the local RCMP, nursing staff, and farmhands, who have no interest in a body when no one local is missing.
