Auditions for “The 39 Steps” are closed.
Audition registration for “Miss Holmes” will open in early December 2025 for the auditions on January 3-6, 2026.
Everyone who registers for an audition will be contacted, so check your junk box if you haven’t heard back within a week or so of signing up (and add us to your safe list!).
Show Week Dates: May 4-10, 2026 at the Martial-Caron Theatre, Saint Boniface University
Rehearsals: See the complete rehearsal schedule here. Rehearsals take place in the St. James neighbourhood.
Line Read: For those who are selected for the cast, the first line read of the play (and handing out scripts) will take place Monday, January 19, 2025, in the evening.
Synopsis: Join Miss Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Dorothy Watson as they work together to uncover the secrets surrounding a corrupt police inspector whose wives have a habit of turning up dead! These unconventional women, trapped in an era that refuses to accept them, must forge a bond of trust and work together through the dangers of 19th century London in this entertaining and delightfully fast-moving murder mystery.
When: Auditions will be held over three days: January 3-6, 2026.
What: We are seeking 15+ enthusiastic people for this show of mystery and adventure. No experience is required to audition. A segment of the play will be sent to you in advance to read for your audition. People from all backgrounds, gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation or identity, or education are welcome and encouraged to apply. Please contact us if you have accessibility needs for auditions.
All cast and crew are volunteers.
