A sultry spy is murdered and a Canadian with a boring life finds himself pursued by a mysterious organization called “The 39 Steps”. Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add in nonstop laughs, and you have a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! This two-time Tony Award-winning treat is packed with over 150 zany characters, an onstage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers, and some good old-fashioned romance!

Did you know, both the book and the play have a shout out to Winnipeg! The author of the novel was the Governor General of Canada from 1935 to 1940! A great story with a Canadian connection.
